In autumn, it is worth visiting the foggy oak forest of Foloi's (a huge natural oak forest included in the NATURA 2000 network). The oak forest of Foloi was the residence of the Centaurs. It takes its name from the Centaur Folos and is associated with Hercules' feats, such as the capture of the Erymanthus Boar.<\/p>

One of the most important villages of the region with the glamor of another era, ideal for your winter getaways, is Lampeia.<\/p>

Of course, you should not neglect to visit Andritsaina. The jewel of mountainous Ilia. The winter landscape will be unforgettable, and the history of the place will win you over, as well as the local cuisine based on meat, honey, raisins, and sesame.<\/p>
